COMMENTERS THANKED

PinUpsForVets.com calendar angel Gina Elise sends a note of thanks to Spiny Norman, Paco, AlburyShifton, Joe Bagadonuts, The Real JeffS, Yojimbo, SwinishCapitalist, Sean M., Casanova, Wronwright, Andrea Harris, and Ushie ...

Thank you so very much for your wonderful comments about the calendar project. It really means a lot to me.

• “Very worthy” - I hope I am worthy of these wonderful compliments.

• “Hubba Hubba” - I can’t get enough hubba-hubbas. Keep ‘em coming!

• “God Bless America” - thank you for your blessing!

• “Nice Dagmars” - yes, those classic cars are awesome. (I know you were referring to the headlights!)

• “A decent calendar” - I tried to be as decent as possible.

• “Betty Page never looked so good” - wow ... she’s a hard act to follow. Thank you!

• “12 months to consider the question” - You can have another 12 months of considering when I do the 2008 pin-ups.

• “Speechless and comment-less” - I am thrilled that is what the pictures did to you.

• “Hefty pair of boots” you say. Those are real boots, I will have you know!

• “Lacy gloves and baking” - wow, that’s an idea - combine those in one picture for the next calendar. Just gloves and cookies. What more could you want?

• “Rock hard Marine studs” - now that is a good idea for a calendar.

• “I’m a girl and I approve” - thank you, my sister.

• “Drool” - what can I say? I love the compliment!

• “Better Bangs” - It took me 24 years to grow ‘em!

More from Gina:

I just dropped off a big box of my calendars to a Veterans Hospital and the guys loved them. I read the donors’ messages on each calendar - the Vets just lit up, hearing all the nice words from the people who purchased the calendars for them.

Soon I’ll be visiting a hospital in San Diego where 55 young wounded Marines are recovering. I hope that your blog fans will help me purchase these calendars, so I can bring one to each of the guys there.

Further calendar background here. So buy one, already.
