ATTACKS ENCOURAGED
Margo Kingston, 2003:
I realised Bush was mad when his army chiefs starting calling suicide bombers and guerilla fighters “terrorists”. For God sake, it’s their country, and they’re facing overwhelming force! The US is INVADING Iraq, to take it over - their bodies are in some cases the only effective weapon they’ve got.
No country can hope to beat the Yanks off with conventional weapons - they’ve got air, sea and land completely covered. The only recourse is chemical, biological and nuclear weapons (the Yanks used them in Vietnam, and have not ruled out using them in this war).
And as I’ve said before, if Australia is attacked, it’s no longer terrorism. We have invaded Iraq. Iraq, or its new allies, have every right to attack back.
Daily Kos, 2006:
With the U.S. actively sending fuel and missiles to Israel in the midst of a shooting war, a war producing hundreds of victims like the ones in the picture at right, we’ve moved way beyond that. The United States is now a legitimate military target in that war.
That includes factories making the missiles or any parts or materials that go into them, refineries making aviation fuel, and trucks and railroads and ports and ships and planes being used to transport any of those things, not to mention any of the people involved in those activities ...
The U.S. ... has now declared war against the people of Lebanon every bit as much as it did against the people of Iraq, Afghanistan, Yugoslavia, Vietnam, Palestine ...
UPDATE. Expect the likes of Kos and Kingston to denounce the Iraqi army as collaborators:
The Iraqi army has foiled a potentially deadly attack on UK troops in Basra, the British army has said.
The U.S. ... has now declared war against the people of Lebanon every bit as much as it did against the people of Iraq, Afghanistan, Yugoslavia, Vietnam, Palestine ...
Well, there you have it… even when we intercede to stop genocide, with no national interest at stake whatsoever, we’re wrong.
But of course, they tell us we were wrong to not stop the Rwanda genocide…
Ugh. How do you make these people happy?
If the US supplying munitions to Israel makes the US a “legitimate” target, doesn’t the same theory apply to Iran’s supplying munitions to Hizbalooza?
Simple logic would dictate that Kos has just endorsed an attack against the Mad Mullahs. Goody!

Hm. I’m guessing: die in horrible screaming pain after being totally humiliated on live tv in some fashion. I think that would bring a smile to the faces of the likes of Kos and Kingston.

These people fashion themselves educated, with their poli sci, journalism and women and minority studies degrees. But instead they are stupid, not ignorant, but stupid. And yes they are traitors and every last one of them should be awaiting their maker with fear, for they saw evil and refused to even acknowledge it, let alone do anything to stop it. The fiery depths of hell await!!
Actually - I think I’d rather watch that, but last I knew there weren’t any cameras to broadcast the festivities.
Re #2, Dave, I thought the same thing myself.
No matter what the West does, we are wrong. Unless we submit to the terrorists. Or die.
I think we can safely question their patriotism.

I don’t think I want to watch myself (or any of you) die in screaming pain after being humiliated in some fashion on live tv.
Posted by Andrea Harris, Administrator on 2006 07 22 at 12:57 PM • permalinkBy the way, I wouldn’t enjoy watching any of these traitorous fools die in horrible screaming pain—call me squeamish. However, the humiliation on live tv I could handle.

Oh, and by the way, Kos-sacks….the United States has been a target (legitimate or otherwise) of the Islamoterrorists for a long time. This is nothing new.
Congratulations, “elishastephens”, you are officially a tool.

One or all of us dying in horrible screaming pain etc. = happy Kos kid.
Kos kid dying in horrible screaming pain = unhappy me.
Humiliated on live tv Kos kid = happy me.

Did Cuba become a legitimate military target of South Africa when they supplied weapons to SWAPO?
Did mainland China become a legimitate military target when they sent 1 million troops into the field against the United States in Korea?
Did the United States become a legimate military target when we chose not to delay the shipment of new sidewinder missiles to the UK during the Falklands War?
Sure, by this standard, I don’t think the Kossacks would have supported military action there.
Just to clarify, in case I am still being too abstruse for some
Doesn’t matter, Andrea - the lefty wankers are going to be posting in their lefty wank-sites that the admin of Tim Blair’s blog wants all leftists to be anally raped to death with power tools on live television and everyone in Amerikkka should be forced to watch under penalty of death. And the rest of us chanted, “Yes, Master, as you command.”
Actually, I posted that more for the benefit of some of our own commenters, who seemed to misunderstand my original comment.

Sure hope Kos doesn’t live near any factories, refineries, ports, airports, railroads, or highways where there might be trucks. As for the US now being a legitimate target in this war… where the hell has he been? Since when weren’t we a target of the Islamonazis?

Okay, who told Margok about the nuke we dropped on Hanoi?
I am a bit dense, so maybe someone could explain to me, when did Israel become a legitimate target for Hezbollah?

Hell, they thought we were a legitimate target on 9-11, so what’s the diff? According to these people we are always a legitimate target. Their world view is perfectly encapsulated by Fat Fisk getting the snot beat out of himself by some Afghan punks and then proclaiming he deserved it.

Bwah?
Further proof—as if any were needed—that Kingston is either a liar or an ignorant tool (though it’s not as if they’re mutually exclusive).
The US did not use nuclear, biological, or chemical weapons in Vietnam. The closest we came was Agent Orange (and its defoliant cousins), which are indeed chemicals but are not classed as chemical weapons.
I guess these Kos Kid statements would concern me more if I thought Hezbollah conducted legitimate military operations.
Yes, we’ve been a target for years. Go back to at least 1993. But also remember what we did to the last group of people bent on making war against American civilians in America. That group were the Sioux. Come to think of it, they too had a death cult at the time.
Then again, it finally seems to have penetrated some skulls that we are in a war. Better late than never!

Don’t think the the Israelis aren’t working on the logic of this.
Meanwhile, I condemn Israel’s ‘disproportionate’ failure to attack Syria who obviously supplied their proxy Hezbullah.
As Kofi would say, Why pick on that small guy?#33 paco: panicking like squirrels
Actually, I saw Margo Kingston on TV a few years ago, one of the few times posing as an ‘expert’ on anything.
Maybe they got her in a neurotic state, but she emoted and squirmed with self-pity and gloom so much, I thought she was ill with incoherence.Much like a female Robert Fisk.
I was at the dentist the other day & he was telling me his daughter believes the government is a much better entity to decide what’s best to ‘take care’ of people who are deemed by someone - a beaurocrat, of course - to be incapable of taking care of themselves. She seems to think the hurricane victims last summer - among others - are living proof of this fact, NOT the result of 40+ years of a bad idea (handing cash & housing & medical care to people who do nothing to earn it except survive birth - and then remain ignorant). I never really believed there were that many purposely stupid…no, pigheaded, selfish, self-centered humans in a few square miles. It more than pisses me off, it makes me terribly sad. And I know this country isn’t the only one with this problem, Oz & UK seem to have the same trouble. Just makes me sick. So, paco, stupid as they are, what the pols see as “best for the weak ones” is what we all get stuck with.
We’ve been what the barbarians see as a legitimate target for a VERY long time - USS Cole, Khobar Towers, the FIRST attack on the World Trade Center, others I’ve forgotten, some may not have qualified at the time…to these wastes-of-human-flesh ALL targets are legitimate, with no discernable “rules” of engagement other than they say so.
I hope Israel pounds the shit out of them. I wish I was man enough to help. I know many who don’t deserve to die will die, but if we let the barbarians win, we’ll all die a much more horrid death.
I need a bath and a cup of tea.
#40 Auntie,
Have your dentist direct his daughter’s attention to the Public Health Service Syphilis Study Wikipedia article here. She might also be interested in the beneficence of governmental actions in places like Nazi Germany and Communist Russia and China, if she is still dumb enough to believe that the goverrnment is better at decideing what is good for people than they themselves are.The only exception I’d make is for deranged individuals, but it is leftist conventional wisdom that mad people are the really sane ones and shold be allowed to live unfettered in general society, apparently so the murderers and robbers can get at them more easily. In this respect an article by Theodore Dalrymple is of interest In the Asylum.

Hmm. So when North Vietnam sent arms and troops to South Vietnam via the Ho Chih Mihn Trail, Laos and Cambodia became legitimate military targets.

Lets also not forget that the Russian generals, diplos and advisers in Iraq up until the day Baghdad fell makes the Russians a legal and viable target.
And what about the French? They were providing the Iraqis intell and new “best of breed” anti-tank missle systems during that fight too.#42 - Michael Lonie, I saw Theodore Dalrymple on CSPAN (Have to admit I don’t usually watch that network, I was channel surfing while I waited for a thunderstorm to pass) today talking about one of his books I’d noticed listed on that site you linked to. (I really hope you can decipher that convoluted sentence!)What a remarkable man! Sane, humorous, sensible, and very down-to-earth. Odd to find a psychiatrist who’s so realistic. Thank you for the link so I knew enough to stop and listen to him! My faith in Mankind has been restored.
UPDATE. Expect the likes of Kos and Kingston to denounce the Iraqi army as collaborators:
The Iraqi army has foiled a potentially deadly attack on UK troops in Basra, the British army has said.
Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t Basra now a “Wholly owned subsidiary of The Madhi Army, Inc.” by way of that “we wear barretts and not helmets - softly softly catchee monkey” philosophy that the Brits seem to be so proud of?
You should never give up on women like this.
Take the feminist faggots who write for the Weekend Australian.
Susan Maushart is probably a lost cause- she who was forced to publish a proper photo of herself in all her glorious dogg like ugliness rather than the tarted up 30 years younger version she usually uses in her column.
But I speak of Ruth Ostrow.I used to think that this woman was a cross between a hippie dope smoking addict and a luvvie dovey Byron Bay beatnik (where she lives).
But she has recently crossed over to become a True Believer.
In the Weekend Australian edition of 15 July 2006, she encouraged Australian women to “kick out” of their homes men who suffered illnesses, such as depression.
She called it “tough love.”
I was fascinated by this concept.
As every man knows most domestic violence in Australia is caused by women. Women fight with their tongue; men with their fists. Women invariably start domestic violence matters and it ends with the man thumping the shit out of the female to silence her. It’s called “tough love” and it’s the best remedy for the sort of women we have in Australia.
But internationally, the concept of “tough love” is marvellously applied to what Israel is doing at the moment.
The civilians of Lebanon will eventualy be wiped out as they have harboured and supported the Hezballoh guerillas. Applying the concept of tough love, Israel should make a much more cleaner and surgical excision of this nest of Muslim vipers and maybe a quick strike with a tactical nuclear weapon or two would be appropriate. It would be more humane than stretching out the war and slowly inflicting cruelty like some sort of medieval torturer. It is often kinder to be tough, and cruel to be kind.
It is called “tough love” and really Israel is showing an excellent application of this concept but needs to refine the doctrine a bit more.
I would like to welcome Ruth Ostrow’s change from some sort of Leftist Hippie Beatnik into the camp of all Right Wing true believer fundamentalists.
Welcome Ruth Ostrow.
So there is still hope for people like Margo Kingston!! People do and can change. When it comes to feminist faggots forced to declare their true colours, I forgot to add someone called Tobin, a feminist who writes personal advice column for the Sunday Mail.
She was required to declare that the claptrap and rubbish she was writing for the digestion of all the idiot women in Australia was from a feminist position, and was also required to publish a true photo of herself (Amityville in all it horror) and not a photo of herself as a 20 year old. Shades of Snag idol Susan Maushart.
That of course is getting away from margo Kingston a bit. But what is it with this leftie feminist journalist/columnists anyway. Some sort of disease?

Lord knows I don’t want to question their patriotism, but these people are traitors.
Uh, that’s news to me…
