BRRR AGAINST WARMING
Tens of thousands of people ignored frigid temperatures Saturday to lead a worldwide day of protest against global warming.
Thousands of people have marched through central Sydney, ignoring wet and windy weather to protest against global warming.
Torrential rain dampened crowd numbers and drowned out speeches at the rally in Brisbane, where thousands were expected but only 1500 showed up.
People had been invited to bring along their umbrellas to protect themselves from the sun. But it didn’t quite turn out like that at Saturday’s Walk Against Warming at Byron Bay as steady rain fell on the more than 100 people who joined the protest.
The Gore Effect apparently does not require the presence of the Prophet of Doom himself.
Facinating.
Gorbal Warmening protest = rain dance.

A hurricane-like storm, two-thirds the diameter of Earth, is raging at Saturn’s south pole, new images from Nasa’s Cassini space probe reveal.
Measuring 5,000 miles (8,000km) across, the storm is the first hurricane ever detected on a planet other than Earth.
We can’t say we weren’t warned
Erm, I shoveled about 7 cubic metres of sand yesterday, at the time I was
prayinghoping for Gaia to bring a small amount of rain to cool me off. This never occured.Does that mean Mother Gaia doesnt like me, yet loves comrade Albert?
P.S. 7 cubic metres of water is 7 tons, sand is heavier…

We also know that if it snows or dips below freezing or rains excessively or not enough or temperatures remain close to the norm for any given area, it’s due to global warmening. All weather phenomenon after the industrial revolution, whether abnormal or normal, is due to SUVs causing global warmening. Don’t even try to deny it. And if you need proof, all you need to do is read the Book of Gore, chapter 1 verse 13.
On a daily basis they could be two-times as productive if they marched to the beaches and protested the tides.

And not necessarily a bad thing, either.(1.618 - I see you’re bringing the family along now.)

Today is of course Remembrance Day. I realise that now, but Nov 11 triggers 1975 first and 1918 second inside my head.Posted by SwinishCapitalist on 2006 11 10 at 10:38 PM • permalinkBrrr…It’s cold tonight, I can’t wait for global warming in the morning.

Just got home from seeing Flags Of Our Fathers. I found it very moving, and not the anti-war bleat that some MSM commentary might lead you to expect.Posted by SwinishCapitalist on 2006 11 11 at 04:31 AM • permalinkApparently it rained at the U2 concert in Sydney last night. Ol’ King Canute’s problem was simply one of bad timing. He should have waited a few hours.
No, how about Ol’ Al “King Canute” Gore?

Or once if we could get them to march out far enough. After all, if the ocean is rising so fast polar bears can’t keep up, what chance would treenie-weenies have?
