EARTH CRUISED
Perth’s David Archibald is the early (and deserving) favourite for first prize in Iowahawk’s 3rd Annual Earth Week Cruise-In, but massive respect is due to John Lien for de-treeing practically the entire state of Virginia.
#1 - Will trade for a photo of you behind bars or on a treadmill.

Education: It’s not just a paycheck for deadbeats.

Posted by The_Real_JeffS on 2008 04 28 at 12:59 AM • permalinkWe are supposed to be getting a bit of land clearing done on the minesite in the next few weeks. Bet we dont get anything that cool to do the job though.
Posted by thefrollickingmole on 2008 04 28 at 01:20 AM • permalinkI see that the average Iowahawk reader is a helluva lot richer than the average Blandwagon reader. I think I need to look at diversifying my audience.

What’s with the 1970’s porn soundtrack though?
Posted by mr creosote on 2008 04 28 at 06:51 AM • permalinkPerth’s David Archibald vroom,vroom,vroom.
John Lien says Spring is here, flowers blooming, blah blah blah.
Bryla says doom, doom.
OT? Glenn Duncan asks, Energiser Bunny remind anyone of someone?
Got me thinking of Oskar MatzerathPosted by stackja1945 on 2008 04 28 at 07:11 AM • permalink#14. Mmmmmm. Raping Gaia. Earth porn.

I’m not all that interested in wheels, but, man, I’d give anything for that boat.
Little tip for Bryla the Righteous: John Lien is clearing land for a farm (that means FOOD), those look to be scrub trees anyway (translation: good for nothing but sucking moisture out of the water table), and trust me, Virginia has lots and lots of trees to spare.
Re #22, just so John is planning on feeding HUMANS, Rebecca, and not Mother Gaia™ friendly vehicles sucking down biofuels.
Either wholesome vegetables or fruits, or maybe even some tasty beef.
Mmmmmmm…...beef!

I want to see a photo of John Lien’s gully one year on - or doesn’t it rain in Virginia?
