Gosh, OZ has a lot of Hezbollite, lovers.

Not one mention of katushas, that have rained down on Israel constantly, even though Israel gave these vile creatures, (although a couple of tight fittin’ jeans babes were there, wonder if they could wear those, say in Saudiland, or Somalia?) Gaza and parts of the West bank or longer range Persian missiles, plus incursions by Hezbollites and Hamaslites.

Oh, I wonder is a Hezbollite, or the newly coined Hamaslite, less filling when charred over an open bridge span? I mean even wild dogs have to watch the intake of certain foods, that I would feed them to.

  5. About two thirds of the way down that page there’s a banner sporting a Star of David with a big red cross through it. Not the flag of Israel - but the symbol of the Jewish faith. That poster is calling for the dissolution of Judaism.

It’s the sort of display one sees in the gruesome photographs of Kristallnacht.

Arabs transliterate it as “Hizb’Allah,” complete with the apostrophe http://www.solomonia.com/images/july06/victory.jpg (from Solomonia‘s article http://www.solomonia.com/blog/archives/008799.shtml on threats and harassment by “pacifist” leftists & islamofascists at a pro-Hizb’Allah rally in Boston).

Whoda thunk that the leftists would embrace a Shari’a-espousing “God Party” owned ultimately by Iranian Shari’a enforcers who subjugate women, hang homosexuals, and stone adultresses? As Shrinkwrapped said, part of it is that the leftists & the islamofascists have so much in common in the resentment & envy department.

They also have something in common in the ginned-up news department. This is a bit old, but was new to me: http://www.seconddraft.org/movies.php .

What they have in common is naked powerlust and a feeling of moral entitlement to insist that everyone do as they are told -  by using force (on the premise that “my noble ends justify any means; eggs, omelets, etc).  So-called pacificism is only felt towards the enemy, and used as a weapon to be used against the real enemy (on the sound moral premise of “the enemy of my enemy is my friend).  The more consistent of the two would win the final battle fought for ultimate control (once the common enemy, the freedom loving folk, is defeated), of course, and that would be Islam.  The wishy-washy, feel-good, anything goes as long as we all go together left would never survive the absolute moral authority of the spokesmen for Allah.  There would be little lefty parts all over the blood-soaked arena.

I mean don’t these knuckleheads at the march know that?
Well surely then the media (other than Fox News) knows that?
Shouldn’t all major media outlets be reporting that the civillian Lebonese deaths are attributed to the Hezbollah using them as human shields.
I guess they do but they hate Israel more.
Please God that the Free world is waking up to this bullshit.

Yup, and that’s Israel’s problem.  They’ll never win till they go all out.  Women, kids and the family goat.  Something Hap Arnold and Bomber Brown figured out 65 years ago and we’ve all since forgoten.  A couple of bright lights over Tehran and Damascus would make a great start.

  23. 10-Kleenex piece in today’s news about the IDF bombing the cripes out of ambulances:

Civilians killed as Israelis target ambulances

It is meant to be a universally recognised symbol of neutrality and a guaranteed passage of protection for the victims of armed conflict.

But at least 10 Lebanese ambulances bearing the emblem of the international red cross have instead become targets in Israeli air strikes that have killed more than a dozen civilian passengers being transported to hospitals in the south of the country.

The latest attack occurred on Sunday night near the small village of Quna, where two ambulances travelling in convoy were fired on by an Israeli Apache helicopter as they sped to the besieged port city of Tyre.

One of the Israeli rockets pierced the centre of the large red cross marked on the roof of one of the ambulances, as if it was used as a target.

In small print towards the end of this propaganda piece a slight acknowledgment that ambulances might be being used to transport weapons and terrorists (as has been done before).

    Here.

  29. O/T - Great Janet Albrechtson op-ed in The Australian today on the parlous state of criminal justice in Australia:

Shut up, you bitch, you slut. Girls like you, I know how to fix them up. - One of the K brothers before an assault on his sister, January 3, 2004, after she failed to make him dinner.

So begins Paul Sheehan’s new book, Girls Like You, to be released by Pan MacMillan today. That was the way one of the K brothers mistreated his sister. The way our legal system allowed another three K brothers to mistreat Tegan Wagner after they raped her at the age of 14 was immeasurably worse.

The trial of the three K brothers was delayed nine times. “Each delay was for a different reason,” Sheehan writes, “too much publicity, or it was Ramadan, or the accused needed new legal counsel, or the accused needed a psychiatric evaluation, or the accused had just sacked counsel, and on and on. There were many arguments for delay but only one real reason: to wear down the victim.”
    ...
He documents a trinity of abusers. Defendants who use procedural stunts and complaints to delay being tried, lie unashamedly, threaten and abuse witnesses. Lawyers who regularly cross the line between legitimate testing of evidence and bullying vulnerable witnesses to trick them into error. The three senior barristers in this case hurled 1971 questions at a 17-year-old schoolgirl, hoping she would break. And a legal system that has converted a sensible, practical concern for the rights of accused people into an unreal, inflexible set of unchallengeable precepts that grow ever more arbitrary and increasingly subvert the interests of society.

    Here.

    Seconded.

One of the things I was taught in the Justice of the peace course was that lawyers are supposed to assist the court. That doesnt mean at the detriment of their client, but it did mean they were supposed to “grease the wheels” of the court to ensure proceedings ran smoothly, on time, and with minimum abuses.
I am strongly in favour of comtempt of court proceedings being taken against lawyers and other individuals who see delats, deciet and confusion as their goals in court.
