Earth Hour - well, Earth Half-Hour - hits the Indian Premier League.

  1. The pitch was apparently prepared on a post-greenhouse apocalypse bare earth and dust model.  Hence some low scores.

  2. Did Roebuck get a nod to commentate on this circus? I don’t think I’ve heard him so far, and would be embarrassed if I missed his chirpy self.

  5. I bet the terrible pitch was part of some bribe paid to influence the result.  This is a perfect league for the betting moguls to control.  Can’t imagine that it is just incompetence as it was soooo bad.
The sine qua non of ‘a good game’ of 20/20 is an even pitch in favour of the batters.
    That’s elementary PR.
Of course, we have all conveniently forgotten that India is rthe capital of cricket betting corruption.
