KNOWN UNKNOWNS

Ted Kennedy and his fellow Democrats have an information problem:

Senate Democrats and Judiciary Committee minority staffers are miffed that conservative bloggers appear to have more information about Bush Supreme Court nominee John Roberts than they do.

“They’ve got material out there that we don’t know about,” complained Sen. Edward Kennedy.

Solution: read the blogs.

  1. They’re not looking for a solution.  They’re looking for a complaint.

  2. Reading the blogs won’t work for Ted . . . the screens look too blurred.

  3. Google counts:

    ted kennedy asshole = 63,700

    ted kennedy drunk = 232,000

    ted kennedy sleaze = 17,500

    ted kennedy corrupt = 194,000

    ted kennedy idiot = 201,000

Like shooting Kennedys in a barrel.

  4. Other Democrats said that they believe the White House is providing supportive bloggers with information that paints Roberts only in a positive light.

The good news is that blogging is having more and more impact every day…..if elected officials are complaining about them being “better informed” than the Democratic members of Congress.  Which is telling unto itself.

Kennedy, speaking to reporters last Friday, said that he was unaware of the prolific GOP blogging on behalf of Roberts until his wife pointed it out.

The bad news is that Ted Kennedy has a smart wife.

  5. Yes, maybe it would help if Democratic Party staffers were reading more blogs than just Atrios and Daily Kos.

  6. “maybe it would help if Democratic Party staffers were reading more blogs than just Atrios and Daily Kos?”

A demonstration of the Socialist “work” ethic?

  8. PW, and here I thought the Democratic staffers read only the Democratic Underground site!  ;-P

Even Kos and Atrios are slightly better than the moonbats who largely frequent DU…..although that is hardly a compliment.

The first bit where ‘Kennedy’ comes on is decent, then try from 4:25 or so.

  25. Oh come on, quit busting on Teddy the K.  That man has been personally responsible for the raising of hundreds of millions of dollars for the Republican Party.  If he didn’t exist, the Republican Party would have to invent him.  And I seriously doubt that anything the Reps would invent could turn to be as big a buffoon as Big Teddy.
