* Crazy Mark is having the time of his life:

* But Peter Beattie believes Latham needs help:
I think he has lost any friends he had left in Australia. Mark has damaged himself, he needs to move on, he needs help. The book is atrocious. It is vile, vicious and nasty bile, it’s the sort of thing which would give a dingo a bad name.
* Latham’s first wife denies claims of bisexuality:

There he was smiling and shaking hands, sliming the vote from the Green Machine while inwardly despising those very same soldiers he was ingratiating himself with for volunteering to defend their country. And this from a man who in his diaries condemns his own former colleagues for their duplicity.
* And John Howard reveals that he keeps a diary of his own, although “it’s of a different character than some diaries that have been serialised recently.”

PUH-LEEEASE!!!! Do not send Latham to the United States. DO NOT! I beseech you, people of Australia! I’m anticipating the continued meltdown of other political and public characters, and I don’t want any distractions, thank you very much.

Say maybe he could team up with George (Galloway). That would be something!
Well, if you send Latham to England, that would be fine. We could stand an occasional visit. Or maybe France? He’d fit right in there.

that was before Katrina.On more important matters I’ve got a ticket to the Swans grand final. I was going to cancel my grand final preference this year but left it to late. It pays to be chaotic sometimes.

The diaries of Mark Latham prove to me he’s capable of sociopathic cruelty. Even more shocking is that they prove Labor deliberately rewarded this man for his savagery by making him its leader.
Oh, yes. His diaries are clear about that: the more cruel Latham was, the more Labor loved him.
And that is the moral of his tale. Latham is, in fact, the sick face of today’s Left.

By which I mean, Butler’s behaviour at that particular wedding was well documented. His biggest crime was to break protocol by tucking into his food before the Queen had even sat down (he was the only person doing so, as you would expect), and he was pissed & starving, basically - couldn’t restrain himself. Something like that.
Was this the reason for his sacking? Probably the last straw, would be a reasonable guess.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am suffering something akin to toxic shock syndrome from all this Latham bile. It has been sort of gratifying for the last week or so to realise what a disaster we dodged but it has rapidly gone to being downright sad watching a man seriously trash everything and everyone who has helped him over the years.
I hope that Tim will turn the dial back to the easy listening Margo Leftoid station and keep away from Mad Mark Meltdown FM.
