MEN DESCRIBED

The no-appearance gang somehow develops racial characteristics in the Sydney Morning Herald:

A man is in hospital with serious facial injuries after being bashed by a pack of men in a Sydney carjacking.

The man was sitting with a friend under the Wilde Avenue Bridge at Parramatta when they were approached by a group of men about 11.15pm, police said.

The group, described as being of Middle Eastern and Pacific Islander appearance, attacked him and escaped with his silver Holden Commodore.

  10. I think it’s a terrible state of affairs when a couple of men can’t sit under a bridge in the middle of the night in Parramatta without worrying about their safety.

Whatever happened to the good old days of printing mugshots in the paper?  I was in a cop shop recently (making a statement, not getting banged up) and I noticed the walls were lined with photos of “Auburn’s most wanted” etc etc.  The cops have the pictures - lots of pictures - why will no bastard print them?

    And what’s wrong with running off a few dozen posters and sticking them up in public spaces?  They don’t have to put “Dead or alive” on them anymore (but I wish they would).
