ONLY DEATH WILL BRING PEACE
Florida Cracker presents a chilling online collection of music videos from 1980 and 1981: “Unfortunately I was able to find the video for ‘Stroke.’ Sorry about that.”
No apologies are sufficient.
Alright, kill me. Foreigner’s ‘Urgent’ is an honest rock song. The big guy with the perm on drums really enjoys himself. Ball-tearing sax break. Good to see a band just play their music without the arty bulldust. And of course the song is about rock’s only subject.
‘I’m not lookin’ for a love that lasts / I know what I need and I need it fast.’ Romance will never die.
Oh shoot it. 1980 & 1981. That would leave Bay City Rollers out I suppose.
I’d sure like to see that Rock and Rock Love Letter video again.

I may never recover.
6. He’s hangin on. I think he’s going the contemporary Christian route.

In public places, where I am commonly exposed to piped-in music not of my choosing, I ponder whether I would trade off all the conveniences of turn-of-the-century living if it meant I would never again have to listen to Cher or Rod Stewart.
