POWER OF THE BOOT

Glasgow’s John Smeaton just keeps rolling out the quality quotes:

If any more extremists are still wanting to rise up and start trouble, know this: We’ll rise right back up against you. New York, Madrid, London, Paisley ... we’re all in this together and make no mistake, none of us will hold back from putting the boot in.

If Smeaton ever wants an Australian holiday, all he need do is get in touch and we’ll raise the cash. This is the land of the boot, after all. Meanwhile, booted jihadi Khalid Ahmed is toast:

A suspect in the failed terror attack on Scotland’s busiest airport was unlikely to survive his severe burn injuries, a doctor who treated him said Tuesday ...

“The prognosis is not good and he is not likely to survive,” a member of the medical team that treated him at the Royal Alexandra Hospital said.

On the contrary; that is an excellent prognosis.

UPDATE. Ray Smuckles is headed our way!

  1. “The prognosis is not good and he is not likely to survive,”

Karma is a bitch, isn’t it?  Being burned over 90% of your body is not very pleasant, but no more pleasant than what they were trying to accomplish.

  4. John Smeaton must have the muzzies howling in Britain. National champion, laughing at the death doctors who’ve missed their place in heaven and the 72 virgins.

What’s to be done? Another bomb? Another attempt at paradise?

    Back to the cave, boys.

This is sadly untrue of too many of many of our fellow citizens, and definitely untrue of our governments. Between them, they will counsel “moderation and understanding”, and license the ownership of boots.

I can’t imagine the pain this joker would be in if he wasn’t doped up. But even so, I don’t wish pain and death on him. What I want is for his conscience to torment him miserably.

I’m afraid you wait in vain, my friend, because this idiot believes what he did was right.  What I want for him is to know that he failed, and failed miserably, and to realize that when he finally dies, after much needless suffering and indignity, there are no virgins waiting for him and Allah turns away in disgust.  And I want every other jihadi bastard to consider this fate and despair.

  27. #1. “The prognosis is not good and he is not likely to survive”

Rattles newspaper loudly - appears to be The Daily Telegraph - startling several Members out of their sleep apnea. The resulting chorus of snorts creates a porcine ambience, rather like the slopping hour at the hog exhibit of the County Fair. The nose of the venerable waiter turns up in not entirely lofty, yet still noticeably elevated, disdain.

Wot? Wot’s that ya say, young feller? What’s not “good” about that prognosis? Ohhhh . . . you mean from that Ahmed cove’s point of view. Well, yes, I suppose there’s something in that. But we musn’t be surprised when one of these young fire-eaters comes a cropper, wot? Sort of “Khalid in action”, wot? Haw, haw . . .*cough* . . .*splutter* . . .! Jenkins, bring me another brandy. You smoked it, didn’t you? “Khalid in action”. A play on words, you see. “Khalid” instead of “killed”, the whole effect or punchline depending on the . . . Jenkins! Where’s that brandy?

  32. A suspect in the failed terror attack on Scotland’s busiest airport

Khalid Ahmed, 27, is in a Scottish hospital with burns suffered after allegedly crashing a Jeep Cherokee into the Glasgow airport a day after police found two unexploded car bombs in central London.

    Suspect. Allegedly.
I know there is a legal requirement for reports to be couched in these terms, but they just make me laugh. The suspect allegedly did what he did. Even though many people saw what happened and much of it is on film and seen by many more, but it’s still alleged and he’s only a suspect.

I honestly think aussies would set about a terrorist who was trying to punch a police officer / others, but sometimes I do wonder.

My brother is hot on the heels of these scum, leading one of the investigative units = all power to him and his fellow officers.  Only found this out quite recently, and can’t wait until this fellow is charged / extradited to hear all about it.

The reason for the delay (as reported) is there are 30,000 documents to translate - and that was just on 1 computer, let alone all those neat phone message / records to go through.

It may take a while, but they will be thorough!

Of course the media reports it as “still held without charge” as if this guy is the new Hicks.  No surprise there!
