There are thousands of loewenstein clones in the fashionable parts of New york or London. These jews are known as “self hating Jews” but a better term would Jews for self aggrandisement and in the case of Antony an attempt to hijack “official jewish Australian opinion and gain instant recognition as an “intellectual liberal” and political author.
When he states that intellectual jews such as harold Pinter or Steven Fry have “no voice” , he does mention that these guys are the darlings of the BBC and Al guardian and get constant exposure in those media.
In fact is is the supporters of israel that have no voice in the MSM.
Virtually every jew you talk to recognises the plight of ordinary palestinians who live under the most oppressive conditions brought about by a totalitarian regime of thuggery and islamic oppression which has lasted decades.
The jihadists who run things never want a settlement with Israel and resort to murder and mayhem every time there is the slighest chance of working towards a solution, so as to destroy any chance of peace.
If you are intent on bringing human rights to the Palestinians then you must solve the problem of Islam which does not entertain the right of a self dermining Israel to exist within lands conquered and deemed to belong to the Ummah.The very existence of israel is a deep insult to the arabs.

They’ve never lived in Israel, they’d have no idea what is was like to grow up in a war zone—to have to worry about your kids getting blown to bits by jihad-seeking suicide bombers everytime they go out. Loewenstein went to Israel once on a 3-week tour. They sit back here in their air-conditioned offices and spout advice to the Jews living in the tiny country of Israel where all their Arab neighbours want to push them into the sea. They act so frigging morally superior from the other side of the world.
It must be difficult being a diaspora Jew and tolerating anti semetism,(because it is everywhere) but the answer is not turning on your own people, you gutless hypocrites. Joining the other side, doesn’t save you.
If anyone wants to speak loudly about this, then can I suggest that you all boycott books published by Melbourne University Press (Louise Adler) and Scribe Publications (Henry Rosenbloom). And may I further urge you to write to the Vice-Chancellor at Melbourne University and complain that Louise Adler is using the university’s money and name (some of which is tax-payers’ dosh)) to push her own peverted and sickening agenda.
I will never buy another book published by MUP or Scribe and I’m telling everyone why!
I reckon this group will fade away as quickly as Ant’s book sales did.
Especially when list of names include such eminent Jewish activists as Ben Zonah (translated from Hebrew as ‘son of a whore’).

Over the past few years, he has had articles published in ALL the mainstream newspapers in Australia.
The thing is, Jewish voices of reason and moderation, which he is not a part of, come out and state their case more often than not in response to anti-Semites and self-hating Jews, such as himself.
It is these responses of moderation and reason that he can’t stand and since he can never be part of the Jewish mainstream, he is now going on a crusade to show how he is “silenced”, when in reality, he just doesn’t realise he is so unpopular because he is an absolute fuckwit who never makes sense.
He says that he doesn’t believe in the concept of a Jewish state. He supports Palestinian suicide bombers who aim to kill and main as many innocent Israelis as possible and he condemns Israeli counter-terror measures.
Once you know which angle he is coming from, you can clearly see what sort of group this is going to be.
No wonder no one likes him, except of course, anti-Semites and neo-Nazis.
The sad thing, which he can’t seem to get through his thick head, is that, his efforts to delegitimise Israel and get onside with Israel’s enemies won’t spare him as they would kill him in an instant.

As for the rest of the signatories, most of them appear weekly in the letters pages of the Australian Jewish News. They are about as “silenced” as Loewenstein is.
Loewenstein is aiming for 1000 signatures. In other words, less than 1% of the Australian Jewish Community. At best. Thus far, he has amassed around 1-200, so 0.001 per cent.
He thinks he’s being stifled, when the reality is much more simple: He’s just very unpopular.
That won’t stop his co-signatories kidding themselves about how “brave” they are for “speaking out”. I mean, Woody Allen could come past and whack them any second!
I do look forward to the day when 100 or more “prominent” Muslims write such a letter to the newspaper. Loewenstein is lucky - Jewish people don’t issue Fatwas.

You can guarantee that if you presented 1000 signatures on other matters, or 5000 Jews presented a petition stating that current Israeli policy of supporting a Palestinian state risks genocide against the Jewish people in Israel (by setting up terrorist states on its own borders) it wouldn’t get printed.
It’s very noteworthy that he got the bulk of his oxygen from Fairfax, with articles in the SMH/Age as well as corresponding letters to the editor.
At least the London Jews for Genocide had Stephen Fry. Loewenstein’s about the biggest celebrity on his own list.

But since 1948, many offers have been made by the Israelis to the Palestinians including the original offer of 90% of the country. (Yep, the original Zionists were happy with a tiny slice of the country—and Jewish settlers had legally purchased about 20% of it anyway). But each time the Palestinians refused the offer and called for the destruction (genocide) of the Jewish people in Israel. They have rejoiced in every suicide bombing, every mutilation and every criminal act inflicted on Israeli civilians by their own population.
In 1920, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Amin Al Husseini incited riots that pitted Palestinian Arabs against Palestinian Jews. In 1943, Al Husseini created the Hanzar SS Division. This was a division of Arab Muslim Nazi soldiers totally dedicated to supporting Hitler in ridding the world of Jews. Hitler promised Al Husseini that when he’d finished incinerating all the European Jews he would come to the Middle East and kill all the Jews there too. There are scores of photos online of Al Husseini with Hitler and Himmler in Germany during WW11. This was five years before Israel was even created by the League of Nations. You simply cannot argue that Jew hatred exists because Israel was created.
The Palestinians have never wanted peace with the Jews. They elected a government (HAMAS) that publically stated it was dedicated to the destruction of the Jewish state. They did this because they want it too. They will never settle for anything less than the entire country without a Jew in it. If anyone doubts this, read history.
The entire Arab world (except for Jordan) leaves the Palestinian refugees to rot because it suits their own anti-Israel agenda. For the world weeps and blames the Jews. The discrimination toward Palestinians by other Arab states is astonishing. They don’t allow them to work or become citizens. (Check out UNWRA in Lebanon and Syria) They do nothing to improve hygeine or living conditions in the camps and then they blame Israel.
Ninety per cent of the Palestinian Arabs originated from Jordan and they have always had a complete right of return to that country. But, they would rather be victims than go there and begin new lives. There is so much more to this issue than idiots like Loewenstein know. To my knowledge he has no understanding of Middle Eastern history.
And by the way, I’m a catholic who feels great guilt at the way my own my church behaved during the Second World War.
Daphne, Hitler called Pius XII the “Jewish pope” and the myth of indifference, support or even collaboration was started by leftist “Catholics” in the 1960s to attack papal authority to promote abortion, homosexuality etc. I’m not going to fish for links for you, but if you “search” at National Review Online, I’m sure you’ll find a number of pro-Pius articles.

Wow, I sure do because when you put it into context—when you look at the history of the catholic church (and I say this as a somewhat lapsed catholic) it is a contributory factor to the development of Jew hatred over the centuries since. I have known many older catholics who still spout this stuff—who take the New Testament literally.

He really does all the lefty cliches beautifully. Hating Israel while at the same time saying the right things about Israel’s right to exist. Screaming censorship at every turn despite getting more coverage than 99.9% of the population (and indeed censoring others on his own site).
Saying how ‘courageous’ he is despite having no threats against him. Lazy on the facts. Sloppy grammar. He is the complete ticket.
I think he may have even once or twice reported death threats, which the left always has up its sleeve if the ‘censorship’ trick doesn’t work (see M. McKew).
If he is an actor in character, then hats off to him, very funny and he got lots of us fooled.
