“THIS IS TEXAS”
Drama at Camp Cindy:
A man fired a shotgun into the air as about 60 anti-war protesters held a religious service on the road to President Bush’s ranch.
Sheriff’s deputies and Secret Service agents in the area of the demonstration site Sunday rushed to the home of Larry Mattlage after the shots were fired but did not arrest him.
“I ain’t threatening nobody, and I ain’t pointing a gun at nobody,” Mattlage said. “This is Texas.”
Secret Service agents rushed to his house? Then who was left on killing duty?
Ah bet them AntI war pretestors dont got no snake handling religious service like ahm use too! pre-tenders!

Setting herself up as a hero now, eh? I suppose this was inevitable, since we are talking about McChimpy Haliburton BusHitler, after all. God knows that his Digital Brownshirts would come marching down the road, sooner or later, and stomp on this peaceful demonstration with their jackboots.

Sounds like the locals are starting to get a bit snarky with their rights-of-way being blocked. I would too.
What I want to know is, who is supplying the portaloos? Or do they just duck out the back when Nature calls?Posted by Nilknarf Arbed on 2005 08 15 at 06:43 AM • permalinkWhere was John Howard? He was there on 9/11, London,SIEVX,and the voices in my head tell me he was responsible for Bali too!
Its all Johnnys fault

Apologies from the UK. Another victim of the welfare states policies.
At some point, her 15 minutes of fame should be up. Perhaps when her tax return fails to show up? I can see her getting dragged off to the pen for failing to pay her taxes to support a “corrupt government” prosecuting an “illicit war for oil” and supporting the “evil JOOOOOS”.
That little scene would make the news for sure, but would Michael Moore visit her in the stockade? Only if they had donuts…
Gotta love the neighbor getting his shotgun greased up for “dove season” - looks like there are only pigeons in the ditch right now, though, crapping everywhere and being a general nuisance.

Posted by SwinishCapitalist on 2005 08 15 at 08:32 PM • permalinkToday was the first day of school. As my 7 year old daughter sat eating her breakfast at the ungodly hour of 6:30, the commercial of Cindy came on…for some reason it caught Madison’s attention..she watched the entire thing…After it was over she returned to her breakfast and said under her breath “that’s annoyen” I think she meant that’s annoying.
It was the same at dinner time…this time Madison twisted around in her chair and watched the commercial….I watched her the whole time…she had a puzzled look on her face, kind of shook her head at the end…and she said the same thing. It was annoyen.
This from a 7 year old. I’ve never discussed anything about Cindy with anyone in my family…so I’m not sure what it is about the commercial that bothers Madison so much, but it’s interesting (to me) that a 7 year old can sense that something isn’t quiet right with the woman. That is the saddest thing. We are watching a woman have what they would have called in the old days, a nervous break-down. And the extreme left is helping her along.
Hey all, I just got my first CODEPINK ‘millionreasons’ solicitation E-mail:
Dear Zoe Vagina,
“Before this all started, I used to think that one person couldn’t make a difference… but now I see that one person who has the backing and support of millions of people can make a huge difference.”—Cindy Sheehan
Sitting out here in arid Camp Casey in Crawford, Texas, Cindy Sheehan shines like a Pink Rose of Texas. Out of the dust, intense heat and hostile political climate, she has brought new life to the conscience of this nation. Despite her opponents’ dirty tactics to malign her character, divide her family, and undermine the purity of her message, Cindy continues to inspire mothers and their loved ones around this nation to rise up against the senseless death of our children.CODEPINK has been by Cindy’s side here in Crawford from the beginning of her vigil. It has been astounding to watch how a grieving mother, camping in a tent as close to the president’s ranch as she could get, has turned this dry, flat landscape into a field of dreams. Now we want to honor her with a flood of pink roses as a physical reflection of the beauty that she has created for us all.
The walnuts even managed to Elton Johnize up a hippie protest song:; “CODEPINK Rose of Texas”.
That’s it!
Now we just have bring home the troops!
That would melt even bin-laden’s sandstone heart.Omar of Iraq The Model has written a rather moving answer to Cindy. I don’t think she will be reading it, though; her career as a global madwoman (think: Rachel Corrie) is just taking off. All the opportunistic weeping heads on TV will have to get her now for an interview. The grieving mother driven bats by George W. And who can blame her!!! Sob
mojo—I’m old. 8-inch when you want to send the very best; four-deuce when you’re in a hurry…
