UTTER FAILURE

“Pyjama Media is an utter failure,” declares David Heidelberg. “A look at their website’s stat counter reveals that they average 20 visits a day. 20 VISITS A DAY!!! HAHAHAHAHA. My piddley little site averages 30 hits a day!!” Triumphant, Heidelberg continues:

Of course we can’t forget our own homegrown wingnut, tim blair is a member of the Pyjamas Media Advisory committee. There he is on the right of picture during their launch. What a great addition to tim’s CV. And next time he derides Margo Kingston for the ultimate failure of Webdiary, I think we should remind him of this joke.

Firstly, I resigned from Pajamas Media (note the spelling) in November, a decision widely noted at the time by people who can read.

Secondly, the stat counter Heidelberg cites is nothing to do with Pajamas Media (which, by the way, is doing rather well). It’s actually the Sitemeter tally for unpopular Wordpress-hosted spoof site Pyjamas Media. That’s pyjamas, Dave; with a “y”.

Thirdly, David’s corrections and apologies should really be something to see. Click over to his blog for updates.

Er, I thought it was intended to bring a new level of *advertising revenue* to the blogosphere.

Now comes the fun part.  Sure as shinola on a barnyard boot, Mushie is going to read Tim’s blog, and jump on any mistake, large or small.  I’m betting that any such post with be so righteous and indignant in nature as to make Pat Buchanan sound like your local volunteer pastor.

It would good to do that. But Heidelberg’s MO is to start the same shit shortly after. And unrealized apologies have become fashionable.

No, I think he actually meant that it’s possible for an evil super villain to “loose” his powerful bionic eye on his unsuspecting enemies, where it will wreck havoc by means of optically transmitted gamma rays. Of course, he’s still a loser.
